Since the kids liked it so much, we may be going to 亞伯特桌遊基地 again.  We're waiting to hear your feedback.  Let us know...

Wow, what a great day at 亞伯特桌遊基地!

Have you ever seen so many games in one place?  I don't think the kids had either...

The kids had a great time... the adults had a great time... what else can I say - this place is such a good place to meet and have a good time with friends.  

Based on the feedback we received at today's event, it sounds like we may be going to the same place next time.  Hope to see you there!

Hello Everybody, 

It's been a while since I posted on the blog... 

Get ready for Meetup #5!   

Since it's getting pretty hot outside, let's do something inside. Come and join us at 亞伯特桌遊基地 for some table games!

亞伯特桌遊基地 is only $150 NTD per person ($130 for kids) and provides a free drink (usually $50) for each person who joins.

Since this place is full of games, there's no need to bring anything except yourselves.  Come and join us!

If you haven't been to one of our meetups, come and join us!  

Although we already have a great group of families that comes to each of our events, we also look forward to meeting new people.

Meetup #4: Recap

Date:  2018.05.27 
Venue:  Taichung Science Museum Park

What a fun day in the park! 

We all met up at the park across the street from the Taichung Science Museum for games and free play.  

3 Game Challenge

1. Basketball
2. Ring Toss
3. Bowling

Finish each game and then run to Brian and tell him (in English) which game was your favorite.

"3 Little Pumpkins" Game

Thank you Sunny for your "3 little pumpkins" game.  

Put the little pumpkin behind somebody.  Once everybody is finished singing, if you have the little pumpkin behind you, get up and run around the circle of people to catch whoever put the pumpkin behind you.

Next time

Since it's getting hotter and hotter, let's plan on meeting somewhere inside next time.  Hope to see you there!

Meetup #3: Update

Hi Everybody!

So here’s a bit more info about our meetup this upcoming Sunday…

Activities

Let’s have a relaxed day in the park.  Although we’re going to focus mostly on the kids playing, we think it’d be nice to have a bit of a picnic.  

1. Name game.  Everybody can introduce themselves.
2. Easter eggs.  Melissa has prepared an Easter egg game.     
3. Free play.  Let's just have fun in the park. 

What to bring

1. Games/toys. Please bring any outdoor games/toys that you think the kids would like (frisbee, ball, badminton... just a few ideas)
2. Simple picnic food.  Although sharing is great, let’s keep it simple.  Just bring whatever you and your family plan to eat. 
3. Outdoor gear.  A picnic blanket/mat (for sitting on the grass)

Meetup #2: Summary

Our second meetup was also held at Elama.  

We booked a game room on the top floor of the restaurant.  

After eating an early lunch, we played a name game for everybody to introduce themselves.  

Afterwards, the kids played in the sandbox and colored in a picture for a free gift from the restaurant
